Do you love pizza? Have you always wondered, “How can I make delicious pizza at home?!” Instacart is excited to partner with Chef Marc, a local San Francisco based pizzaiolo (pizza maker in Italian), who will take us on a journey through the art of pizza making. The event will be held virtually through Bevy on Tuesday, May 25th, from 7:30-9PM CST. We will start off with a quick round of introductions followed by Chef Marc walking us through how to stretch the dough, build the pizza and make the pizza! Make sure you have the following items for this pizza making class: Cookie sheet Measuring cups (teaspoon + tablespoon) Large bowl to mix your ingredients Flour (ideally bread flour if you can find in your local grocery store) Fine salt Olive oil Canned whole peeled tomatoes (he recommends San Marzano variety if available) Active or instant dry yeast Shredded mozzarella Any topping of your choosing Nice to have items, but not required: Pizza stone Wooden paddle (to put in and remove pizza from your oven) Pizza cutter Digital food scale
